Who is Speckled Buffy?

You may be wondering where on earth I came up with the title for my blog. I grew up with the most gregarious and fun dad. I will never forget all of the special little things he would do for us. He used to put little post-it notes in our lunch pails for us to read when he made our lunch. One day I opened my lunchpail to find my new name. He addressed it to: Ruffy tuffy speckled Buffy, nose is stuffy Neil.
My nickname throughout my childhood was Buffy. When I was in first grade I came down with one of the worst cases of chickenpox and still bear the scars today. I also had unusually large aednoids that affected my speech and made it sound like I always had a cold. Wasn't I a sight to imagine?
